Flip PDF to Word: converting pdf's into doc files
Flip PDF to Word is a freeware by which a pdf file can be converted into a Word file and as such be edited with any word processor. The interface is very detailed but easy to use, and the result of the conversion is of excellent quality. The software sits in the systray and monitors the folder you chose for pdf files. Conversion is automatic and the document is saved into another folder which you specified in the settings. You can also convert files in batch mode.

OblyTile: create customized tiles for the Windows 8 Start Screen
OblyTile is a tool which you find on the Win8Tiles site that lets you fine-tune customized tiles for the home screen of the Windows 8 operating system. It's very simple to use: you just have to choose the name you want to give the tile, the path or URL, the image and thumbnail and a background color to your liking. Then click on 'Create Tile' and you are done.
