Bookmarklets are simple tools, a combination of browser bookmarks and Javascript code, that extend the surfing and searching capabilities of Firefox and Explorer web browsers. Bookmarklets are free and allow you to modify the way you see someone else's webpage, to extract data from a webpage, to search more quickly, and in ways not possible with a search engine. By assigning a bookmarklet to a permanent button on your toolbar, you can add some very useful features to your browser. Over 150 bookmarklets are available and they work on all platforms (Windows, Macintosh, Unix). You do not have to download or install any software to use Bookmarklets.
