International Animal Rescue (IAR) comes to the aid of wild and domestic animals with hands-on rescue and rehabilitation. They return rescued animals to the wild but also provide sanctuary for animals that can't fend for themselves. A dancing bear is a sloth bear that has been poached from the wild as a tiny cub. The cub's teeth and claws are pulled out one by one. The red hot poker burns through the bear's sensitive nostrils. The rope rubs incessantly against a never healing wound.
